No. 15 - Quartet - "Dancing Mad."

MIDI File

Carraway: Nowadays we're told
Not to be so lazy,
Doctors all advise
Lots of exercise!
Dudley: Young as well as old
All go simply crazy,
Hop and skip and jump,
Else they get too plump.
Henry: Some go in for dumb-bells,
Others punch the ball,
But I believe in dancing —
Pedro: Dancing!
Dudley: Dancing!
Henry: That's the finest exercise of all!
All: One and two and three and four and five,
That's the way to keep yourself alive!
Never mind
If you are slim or portly,
You will find
A great improvement shortly!
Five and six and seven, eight and nine,
In a week you're feeling simply fine!
All the day you never ought to stop,
But dance away till you drop!

Carraway: When you're in your bath
Tread the light fandango;
Polka more or less
All the time you dress,
Dudley: Down the garden path
Gaily try the tango,
Dance the hornpipe thus
In the omnibus.
Henry: When it comes to lunch time
Waltz into the house —
Oh! always keep on dancing —
Pedro: Dancing!
Dudley: Dancing!
Henry: When you're in the Highlands shooting grouse!
