No. 11 - Quartet - Dora, Nancy, Gus and Archie

MIDI File

Nancy: Away to España, today or Manaña,
That's Spanish, you know, for "tomorrow" —
Dora: We'll sit in the fore rows
Of Plaza de toros,
And gaze on the bull-fight with sorrow.
Archie: Then hey! for Lerida,
And olla podrida,
Madrid, and Seville, and Santona!
Gus: The merry mantilla, the gallant guerilla,
And beauties of bright Barcelona.
All: Pour the Amontillado Sherry,
Dance on the festive Prado, merry,
Woman and man go in for fandango.
Smoking a Colorado, very.
Come where the gay Gitaña, joking!
Lighting a real Cabaña, smoking,
Joins the torero in a bolero, viva,
Viva España.

Nancy: Across the frontera, the gay criadera
Will bring us Tortillas and Xeres.
Dora: Oh, best on the whole is a dish of frijoles,
A food that is fit for the fairies!
Archie: And if down at Cadiz
A hundred in shade is
The heat by Negretti and Zambra,
Gus: We'll fly to Grenada and drink limonada
While strolling about the Alhambra!
All: Pour the Amontillado Sherry,
Dance on the festive Prado, merry,
Woman and man go in for fandango.
Smoking a Colorado, very.
Come where the gay Gitaña, joking!
Lighting a real Cabaña, smoking,
Joins the torero in a bolero, viva,
Viva España.
