Otto Alexander (1908-09)

A baritone member of the Savoy chorus during the latter half of D’Oyly Carte’s Second Repertory Season, from November 1908 until March 1909, Otto Alexander assumed the role of Owen Rhys in the "curtain raiser" A Welsh Sunset from Leo Sheffield in January 1909. In January, he also substituted on occasion as Samuel in The Pirates of Penzance and Luiz in The Gondoliers.

After leaving the D’Oyly Carte, he continued his stage career in London, appearing often in musicals, comic opera, and pantomime between 1910 and 1914.
