Edward Arthur (1892)

In 1892, Edward Arthur toured with the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company "D" as John Dory in The Vicar of Bray (between May and August), and Mr. Wallaby in the companion piece Quite an Adventure (in May and June). This was his only appearance with the D’Oyly Carte organization. An Edward Arthur, possibly the same gentleman, appeared in a series of comedies at the St. James’s Theatre, London, in 1901-02.
