THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANY

When Richard D'Oyly Carte, as Manager of the Royalty Theatre in 1875, launched Trial by Jury, Mr. J. Belleville was on the programme as the Usher:not in Trial, but in the featured opera, Offenbach's La Perichole. It was his only known appearance under D'Oyly Carte management.
