A Mr. Brown was a chorister with one of two American touring Billee Taylor companies launched by R. D'Oyly Carte and E. E. Rice in 1881. His surname is known to us from a testimonial benefit for Helen Lenoir staged in New York on May 19, 1881, by the combined companies.
