Sophie Farquharson (1879-80)

[Born Islington 1844, died 1916]

Sophie Farquharson was a member of Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "Second London" Company chorus in H.M.S. Pinafore from the latter part of 1879 through February 1880 when the tour ended. She may have remained with the Carte organization longer as she married fellow chorister W. O. Billington in 1881.

She was probably the sister of Annie Farquharson who also appeared in that production.
