Ethel Hyem (1898-99)

[Born Marylebone, London 8 Feb 1874, died Langley, Buckinghamshire 13 Apr 1928)

Constance Ethel Hyem toured with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "D" between December 1898 and September 1899. The Company performed The Vicar of Bray (December-February), The Lucky Star (February-September), and Haddon Hall (July-September). She played one of the "Lady Teachers" in The Vicar of Bray.

She was Ethel Hyem with D'Oyly Carte but later, in musical comedy and variety during the 1910s, she went by Constance.
