Tenor Clifford Millar was briefly a chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company from August to September 1927. In 1930 he did some unspecified television work. Later, he made a few appearances on the London stage--as an extra in Herbert & Dunhill's Tantivy Towers and as William Pokeford in The Fountain of Youth (both Lyric, Hammersmith, 1931), and as Poète in Charpentier's opera Louise and as a chorister in Oedipus Rex (both Covent Garden, 1936).
