Louis J. Monico (born Louis Joseph Leopold Lebensburger) played Pish-Tush in The Mikado with D'Oyly Carte's Third American Mikado Company on tour in New England from November 1885 to March 1886. It was his only engagement with the D'Oyly Carte organization.

Monico appeared in New York on sporadic occasions in subsequent years:in a minstrel show (Dockstader's, 1887), Rookwood (Windsor, 1888), My Aunt Bridget (Fourteenth Street, 1890), and Prima Donna of a Night (Madison Square Garden, 1893).
