THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANY

(Mr.) H. Munn (1880)

Mr. H. Munn may have been a bass-baritone chorister with D'Oyly Carte's Second American Pirates of Penzance Company in Philadelphia, February-April 1880. The Company gave its last performance of Pirates in Philadelphia on April 10, 1880. They then gave two weeks of H.M.S. Pinafore with a Mr. Snyder as Bob Beckett. The next week (April 26-May 1), however, they appeared in Baltimore in H.M.S. Pinafore, with Mr. Munn as the carpenter's mate.
