Vena Rosenbaum (1891-96)

Contralto Malvena Florence Rosenbaum appeared on tour with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "C" from at least April 1891 until 1893, and with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "D" in 1894 and 1896, and probably the years in between. A chorister and small part player, she may have had a small part in The Nautch Girl (January-July 1892), filled in for Kate Forster as Dame Carruthers in The Yeomen of the Guard (July-August 1893), and played Bertha in The Grand Duke (August-October 1896).
