Contralto Agnes Scott was in the D'Oyly Carte chorus at the Savoy toward the end of the original run of The Gondoliers, going on as the Duchess of Plaza-Toro during the last month (June 1891). She was in the chorus of The Nautch Girl (June 1891-January 1892), and took small parts in two companion pieces:Widow Jackson in Captain Billy (when it played with The Vicar of Bray, February-June 1892) and Lady Bushey in Mr. Jericho (with Haddon Hall, March-April 1893, and with Jane Annie June-July 1893). She also reportedly went on for Rosina Brandram as Lady Sophy at some point during the first run of Utopia Limited (October 1893-June 1894).
