Frances Seymour (1921-27, 1931-32)

Frances Seymour joined the D'Oyly Carte "New" Opera Company chorus in December 1921, remaining with them until the "New" Company was disbanded in June 1927. For portions of that time she appeared regularly as Leila in Iolanthe (1923-24 and 1925-26), Peep-Bo in The Mikado (1923-26), and Ruth in Ruddigore (1924-26). In May 1923 she appeared briefly as Phoebe in The Yeomen of the Guard. She also filled in occasionally during the 1924-25 season as Hebe in H.M.S. Pinafore and again as Phoebe in Yeomen.

She later appeared as a bridesmaid in Trial by Jury in the Courtice Pounds Tribute Fund Matinee (His Majesty's Theatre, December 12, 1927).

Miss Seymour returned to the remaining D'Oyly Carte Opera Company as a chorister in November 1931, but left the following April.
