Emily Wallace (1884-87)

[Born St. Martin in the Fields 1863, died Islington 1923]

Emily Wallace (born Emily Sweeney) was a chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy for the fall 1884 revival of Trial by Jury (as a bridesmaid) and The Sorcerer, and for the first months of the original production of The Mikado (March-July 1885).

She then on tour as Peep-Bo in The Mikado with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "D" Company from July 1885 to June 1886. She then returned to the Savoy chorus for most, if not all, of the remainder of the Mikado run.
