Sadie Wigley (1891-94)

Sadie (real name Sarah) Wigley toured with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "B" between December 1891 and December 1892, then with Company "D" until the summer of 1894. She appeared as Tiffin in The Nautch Girl (December 1891-June 1892), Nance in Haddon Hall (November-December 1892), and Agatha (July 1892-January 1893) with Company "B," and as Cynthia The Vicar of Bray (December 1892-December 1893) with Company "D."

She later appeared in London as Carola in comic opera The Queen of the Brilliants (Lyceum, September-October 1894), Musette in the play Trilby (Haymarket, October 1895-May 1896), and Columbine in the pantomime Puss in Boots (Garrick, December 1899-February 1900).

Her father, Henry, toured with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "D" as Peter Piper in The Vicar of Bray between 1892 and 1895.
