Idris Williams (1919-32)

Tenor Idris Williams was a chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company from July 1929 to December 1932. During the July 1931-June 1932 season he filled in on occasion as the Defendant in Trial by Jury and Leonard Meryll in The Yeomen of the Guard.

Williams was later in the chorus of the musical play Dancing City at London's Coliseum (April-June 1935).
