Alice Yorke's only D'Oyly Carte roles were Hebe in H.M.S. Pinafore and Edith in The Pirates of Penzance with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "Pinafore" and "Pirates" Company on tour between February and July 1883.

She later appeared in London as Wat in Farnie & Planquette's comic opera Nell Gwynne (Avenue, 1884). Primarily a legitimate actress thereafter, she performed often in London, working at the Comedy, Toole's, Royalty, Terry's, Globe, Avenue, and Olympic Theatres between 1890 and 1892. Her last London role was Beatrice Moreland in the drama In Sight of St. Paul's (Princess's, 1896).
