Dora Barrington (born Minnie Matilda Ellis) was a chorus member at the Savoy in July 1896 during the revival of The Mikado. In a music carrer that spanned at least 1893 to 1911, she worked in classical concerts, variety, and opera. In 1895 she toured with the Gaiety Theatre Company was Kitty Hetherington in In Town. In 1899 she joined the Moody Manners Opera Company, appearing as Countess Berkenfeld in The Daughter of the Regiment and Jessie in Balfe's The Puritan's Daughter.
