Harry Barron was a chorus member and understudy with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "E" Company who played the small part of Second Yeoman in The Yeomen of the Guard on tour from November 1888 until February 1890. In February 1891, still with "E" Company, he substituted for Lawrence Gridley as Don Alhambra in The Gondoliers.
