Sam Beeze was a member of the backstage staff on tour with D'Oyly Carte's Opera Company "B" in 1889. In February, when Cecil Barnard was filling in for Cairns James as Jack Point in The Yeomen of the Guard, Mr. Beeze took the stage in the non-singing role of the Headsman.
