W. O. Billington (1882-84)

William Orange Billington was a chorister on tour with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's No. 1 "Patience" Company between 1882 and 1884. He may have served in the Carte organization earlier as he married another D'Oyly Carte chorister, Sophie Faequharson, in 1881. After leaving the Carte organization Billington continued his profession as a singer and comic actor until at least 1917.
