Marie Carveth (1906-08)

Soprano Marie Carveth toured with the D'Oyly Carte Principal Repertory Opera Company from December 1906 to April 1908.She appeared regularly as Sacharissa (and on occasion as Ada) in Princess Ida and Fiametta in The Gondoliers during the 1906-07 season, while filling in briefly as Kate in The Yeomen of the Guard (January 1907), Yum-Yum in The Mikado, and Casilda in The Gondoliers (both April-June 1907).The following season she was Sacharissa again, split her time in The Gondoliers between Fiametta and Vittoria, and filled in on occasion as Casilda.
