S. B. Clifford (1881-87)
Mr. S. B. Clifford was a member of the Opera Comique and Savoy chorus for much of the 1880s.He was one of the "Gentlemen of the Chorus" who signed a letter of appreciation to Gilbert, Sullivan, and Carte in January 1882, is named on the second act Savoy set design of Ruddigore (1887), and is known to have served as a juryman in the 1884 revival of Trial by Jury, and as a chorister for the original production of The Mikado.
