Tenor Paul Clinton's only appearance in a D'Oyly Carte program came in October-November 1892 on tour with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "D."In October he replaced John McCauley as Rev. Henry Sandford in The Vicar of Bray.The following month Clinton was himself succeeded in the role by Robert Evett.
