Alice Coleman (1900-02)

Alice Matilda Coleman was a chorister and occasional small part player at the Savoy between June 1900, when she appeared as Kate for the second London revival of The Pirates of Penzance, and April 1902 when she was also Kate in the premiere production of Hood and German's Merrie England.She was replaced as the Pirates Kate in July 1900 by Hilda Jacobsen, and as the Merrie England Kate by Lena Leibrandt in December 1902.

She later appeared in West End musicals The School Girl (Prince of Wales's, 1903-04), Lady Madcap (Prince of Wales's, 1904-05), The Dairy Maids (Apollo, 1906), and Miss Hook of Holland (Prince of Wales's, 1907-08).
