Percy J. Cooper (1885-86)

Percy John Jabez Cooper was engaged by John Stetson to play Pooh-Bah with Carte's Fourth American Mikado Company on tour in New England from December 1885 to at least February 1886. He had earlier appeared on tour in New York and New England in unauthorized productions of H.M.S. Pinafore (as Captain Corcoran) and Patience (as Archibald Grosvenor), the latter with H. B. Mahn's Comic Opera Company.
