Gwendolyn Gasper was a mezzo-soprano chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company from May 1935 to June 1936. She then left the D'Oyly Carte, transferring to London's Westminster Theatre where she served as an extra in A Bride for the Unicorn, an "imaginary adventure in play form," from July 3-18, 1936.
