Daphne Gill (1960-63)

Daphne Gill was a soprano chorister and small part player with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company from May 1960 to July 1963. She sang the small part Kate in The Yeomen of the Guard for the duration of her time with the Company. She also appeared as Giulia in The Gondoliers (1960-61), the Lady Ella in Patience (1962), and Casilda in The Gondoliers (filling in briefly in 1962). Miss Gill may be heard as Giulia on the Company's 1961 recording of The Gondoliers.

Daphne Gill later sang in the chorus with Sadler's Wells Opera.
