Ethel Gledhill (1906-11)

Ethel Gledhill was a chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Principal Repertory Opera Company when it resumed touring in December 1906. Over the next fifteen months she appeared at various times as Fiametta (1907-08) and Gianetta (December 1906) in The Gondoliers, Celia in Iolanthe (1907-08), and Chloe in Princess Ida (1907-08). She joined the chorus of the main Company at the Savoy for the Second London Repertory Season (April 1908-March 1909).

She then returned to the D'Oyly Carte Principal Repertory Opera Company chorus, where from September 1909 until she left in June 1911 she was the regular Ada in Princess Ida.
