Eliza Alice Imms appeared in the Frank Desprez & Richard D'Oyly Carte one act musical pastoral Happy Hampstead, in the small role of a Pleasure-seeker, when it was produced at the Royalty Theatre, London, under the management of Carte and Kate Santley, in January and February 1877, with Orpheus in the Underworld and Lischen and Fritzen. Miss Imms had earlier appeared in the chorus of W. S. Gilbert and Frederic Clays Princess Toto when it was performed at the Strand Theatre, London, in October and November 1876.
