Lawson Johnson (1951-56)

Tenor Lawson Johnson was a member of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company chorus for the five seasons spanning September 1951 and April 1956. From May 1955 until he left the Company he took the small part of First Citizen in The Yeomen of the Guard.
After leaving the D'Oyly Carte he appeared for ten months at London's Drury Lane Theatre as the Fisherman in the musical play Fanny (November 1956-September 1957).
