Maria Jones (1882)

Maria Jones toured with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's Opera Company as Mrs. Betty in Stephens and Solomon's Claude Duval from January to March 1882.It was her only engagement with the D'Oyly Carte organization.

She later worked with the Gaiety Company from 1889 to 1894, appearing at the Gaiety and, often, on tour as Martha in Faust Up-to-Date (1888-90), Michaila in Carmen Up to Data (1890-91), Isabelle Darc in Joan of Arc (1891-92), and Mrs. Wood in Little Jack Sheppard (1894).
