Mezzo-soprano Annie Keeley (born Nancy Pakeman) had three engagements in the chorus with the D'Oyly Carte organization. The first two (January 1923-June 1924 and August-December 1926) were with the D'Oyly Carte Repertory Opera Company, there being two D'Oyly Carte companies in operation at the time. Her third engagement (May-September 1929) was with the sole remaining D'Oyly Carte Opera Company. During her 1926 stint, she was known for a time by her birth name of Nancy Pakeman.
