Herbert Kemp played had two limited engagements as a D'Oyly Carte Opera Company chorister, two decades apart. His first lasted less than six months:from August 1933 to January 1934; his second spanned June (or September) 1953 and April 1954.

(There does not appear to be any hard evidence that the Herbert Kemp who served in the 1930s us the same gentleman who served twenty years later. He may or may not have been.)
