Enid Norwood (1935-37)

Contralto Enid V. Norwood appeared at the Winter Garden Theatre, London, from December 1934 to January 1935 in the chorus of A Waltz Dream, and at the Criterion as Betty Doxy in The Beggar's Opera in March 1935. She joined the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company chorus later that year, substituting on occasion as Inez in The Gondoliers for Josephine Curtis from December 1935 to June 1936. Her duties during the 1936-37 season appear to have been limited to the chorus, and she left the Company in July 1937.
