THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANY
Dora Percival (1885-86)
Dora Percival was a chorister with D'Oyly Carte's First American Mikado Company in New York and Boston between August 1885 and May 1886. After it closed she left the D'Oyly Carte and took a chorus part in the operetta The Maid of Belleville (Star Theatre, New York, June-July 1886).
Miss Percival toured with E. E. Rice and Henry Dixey's Company in 1889. She later had a couple of small named parts on the New York Stage:in The Pearl of Pekin (Bijou Opera House and Standard Theatre, 1889) and in Elysium (Hermann's Theatre, 1892).
