Andrea Phillips (1975-79)

Soprano Andrea Phillips trained at the Elmhurst Ballet School, sang in the Oxford Bach Choir and the London Philharmonic Choir, and studied music and lieder at Morley College before joining the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company chorus in September 1975.

She remained with the Company until February 1979, appearing on occasion as Isabel in The Pirates of Penzance and Fleta and Celia in Iolanthe. From August 1977 onward she took the small part of Giulia in The Gondoliers.
