Brenda Vaughan (1942-45)
Brenda Vaughan was a soprano chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company from August 1942 to March 1945. She filled in on occasion for principal soprano Margery Abbott as Casilda in The Gondoliers in November 1944. Miss Vaughan was married to D'Oyly Carte chorister Harry Gawler.
