Nelly Vibert (born Ellen Woodvine) appeared on tour with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "C" ("Patience" No. 1) Company between March and July 1884. A chorister, she also played the role of Mary in the companion piece A Private Wire. It was her only stint with the D'Oyly Carte in her twent years as an actress and singer.
