Alice Wade (1899-1901)

Chorister Alice Wade first appeared in a D'Oyly Carte program as one of the "Maids-of-Honor" in The Lucky Star with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "D" in the autumn of 1899. She later toured the British Isles as a chorister with Carte's Opera Company "E" in The Rose of Persia from May 1900 to June 1901. For the last couple of months, beginning around March 1901, she appeared as "Whisper-of-the-West Wind."
