THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANY
Annie Walsh (1879)
Annie Walsh was a chorister in H.M.S. Pinafore with the Comedy Opera Company's touring "B" Company in June 1879. That month she, fellow choristers Edward Ives and Florence Hyde, and baritone John le Hay were involved in a boating accident in Bath. Only Miss Walsh and Mr. le Hay survived.
(It has been suggested that Annie Walsh and Laura Walsh, who appeared with several D'Oyly Carte touring companies between 1880 and 1882, may be the same lady.)
