Paul Weakley (1979-80)

Before appearing with the D'Oyly Carte organization, tenor Paul Weakley was in the chorus of the 1978 Festival of London production of The Yeomen of the Guard directed by Anthony Besch. He joined the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company chorus in January 1979, and served with the Company until August 1980.

Since leaving the D'Oyly Carte he has retained his interest in Gilbert & Sullivan. In November 1999 he appeared as Nanki-Poo in an amateur production of The Mikado at the Horsham Arts Center.
