Morgan David Williams was the number two tenor on D'Oyly Carte's April 1902-May 1903 South Africa tour. He appeared regularly as the Defendant in Trial by Jury, Leonard Meryll in The Yeomen of the Guard, Annibale in The Gondoliers, and Lord Dramaleigh in Utopia Limited, and shared the parts of Ralph Rackstraw in H.M.S. Pinafore and the Duke of Dunstable in Patience with leading tenor H. Blake Johnston. It was Williams' only D'Oyly Carte engagement.

He later toured in The School Girl and The Duchess of Danzig before moving to America in 1907, where he continued to perform as a vocalist and actor.
