George Wilmott (1884-88)

George Wilmott (or Wilmot) appeared as Mr. Bunthorne's Solicitor in Patience with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "C" ("Patience" No. 1) Company from March to December 1884, and again with "C" Company (by then a repertory company) from April to July 1885. He was also with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "D" Company in late 1885 and early 1886, and was with D'Oyly Carte's Second Continental tour (November 1887-April 1888), where he again appeared as the Solicitor. He may have been a staff member rather than a singer, and was possibly married to the Mrs. Wilmot who was also on the Continental tour.
