MIDI File

Mary: There's a City of palaces white,
But it's quite In the west,
And we declare You must journey there
Whenever you get the chance.
Jeanne: As you roam through each wonderful hall,
You will all Be impressed,
By things on show That belong, you know,
To England as well as France.
Mrs. Farquhar: There's only a shilling to pay,
No wonder people flock in scores!
So why should we longer delay,
By tube or tram you reach the doors.
All: Come away to the City of White,
The City of White!
You will find it a dream of delight,
By day or by night.
The Court of Honour's fine,
And, if it's in your line,
Pray take a peep At where they keep
The elephants and great big tigers.
You can roam just wherever you please,
Wherever you please,
Pay a call on the Senegalese
(Or people like these)
And if you only stop!
Till shades of evening come,
There'll be fireworks in the Stadi-a-dium, Um, um!

Timothy: On the sleepy canal you can float,
In a boat With a swan,
Or else get warm In Canadian form
Tobogganing down a slide.
Toplady: Then the railway with scenery round
You are bound To get on,
And after tea You no doubt will be
Inclined for a rickshaw ride.
Eynsford: You sit, in the Gardens Elite,
Where soothing bands will softly play,
Or if you want something to eat,
Then try the popular Café!
All: Come away to the City of White,
The City of White!
You will find it a dream of delight,
By day or by night.
Then by and by perhaps,
Upon the Flip that Flaps
You may decide to take a ride,
Though all the girls feel rather nervous.
Don't forget there's the Marathon Race,
The Marathon Race!
Book your seats rather early in case
You don't get a place.
Exciting it will be
To see the winners come
For the finish in the Stadi-a-dium, Um, um!
