| Both: | Chokin, chokera! Kokin, kokera! Hifu, hoheto! What a lot of foolish customs Foreigners seem to know. |
| Makei: | Youth then snatches her Close, and catches her Round the waist so tight. How does the little lady like it? |
| Miyo: | Yoroshi, Yoroshi! Quite all right! |
| Makei: | Presently gallant foreign chap Takes a seat, no doubt. |
| Miyo: | What does little lady do If it's not a seat for two? |
| Makei: | Gentleman friend has full-size lap: He will point that out. |
| Miyo: | Surely lady can't sit there! |
| Makei: | Oh, there's lots of room to spare! |
| Miyo: | Feminine cheeks turn rosy red, Very like sun in west. |
| Makei: | Excellent plan to hide soft head On muscular manly chest. |
| Miyo: | Oh, Teriyaki! |
| Makei: | Oh, Teriyaki! |
| Miyo: | Curly head upon manly chest! |
| Both: | Chokin, chokera! Kokin, kokera! Hifu, hoheto! What a lot of foolish customs Foreigners seem to know. |
| Miyo: | We've learnt four of them; Try one more of them. |
| Makei: | Well, perhaps we might. How does the little lady like it? |
| Miyo: | Yoroshi, Yoroshi! Quite all right! |
