Contralto Florence Violet May Daly toured with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "D" from July to December 1893, appearing the Widow Merton in The Vicar of Bray and Lady Vernon in Haddon Hall.It was her only engagement under D'Oyly Carte management.

The following year she made what may have been her only appearance on the London Stage:as Elisabeth Woodville in the burlesque Jaunty Jane Shore (Strand, April-May 1894).
