Alice Davies (1885)

Alice Davies made her stage debut in Dublin as Siebel in Faust in 1883 with the Carl Rosa Opera Company. She appeared with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy as Constance in the first revival of The Sorcerer, replacing Jessie Bond in February 1885. When the revival ended in March so, it appears, ended her D'Oyly Carte career.

Her later work was largely as a concert artist. An Alice Davies later appeared in London as Jessie in the musical comedy An Artist's Model (Daly's, September 1895-March 1896).
