Ella Maud Haigh toured for a few months as Hebe in H.M.S. Pinafore. She first appeared in the role in early December 1879 with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "Second 'Pinafore' Company," then later that month transferred to Carte's "Second London" Company. With that Company she toured small English towns until February 1880 when the Company was disbanded. She later worked in drama, music hall, and pantomime through 1896.
